This panel displays the structure of your effect.

In this section we will only see the layer panel features but we strongly recommend that you read carefully the section Understanding Layers for a full guide to layers and their use.

How to use this window:

• Expand/Compress the structure:
  When you see a [+] sign near a node or the symbol after the layer name, this means that you can expand that node (i.e. it has sub-nodes. The [+] sign will become, once the node is expanded, a [-] sign. Click it to Compress the structure.
  
  
• How to Duplicate a layer:
  Select the layer to duplicate by left mouse clicking on it and then, right click with the mouse and select Duplicate Layer from the contextual menu.
  
  
• How to Delete a layer:
  Select the layer to delete by left mouse clicking on it and then, right click with the mouse and select Remove Layer from the contextual menu.
  
  
• How to Rename a layer from this panel:
  Select the layer to rename by left mouse clicking on it and then, right click with the mouse and select Rename Layer from the contextual menu.
