Building a Roman Candle
In this section we will add the first layer to our Effect.
Step 2: Creating the "Repeat" Layer
The "Repeat" layer is used to tell how many shots we want, it is like a loop and it says to the engine "Repeat everything below this layer X Times".
We want to make an 8 shots roman candle so we will add a "repeat layer" with the following values.
- In the Layers Panel Select the root node. In the Components Panel double click on the REPEAT LAYER icon OR in the Layers Panel, right click on the root layer and choose "ADD REPEAT LAYER"
- Fill the Properties of the newly created layer with the following data
NOTE: In this sample we said that we want to have a roman candle with 8 shots so the repeat is set to 8.
