Make Position Single Tool
This tool is used to create a single position.
These are this tools options
|
The options include:
- Naming the position to create
- Setting the type of vector
Each position consists on three coordinates in the 3-D space, and three vectors, X, Y and Z, that establish the base orientation used to shoot fireworks from that position.
The Polygon Related option is to create a position with vectors aligned with the polygon shape. The Y vector of the position is always orthogonal to the shape of the polygon. For example: if a polygon is flat horizontally, and the user specifies Polygon Related, then the Y vector of the position is always vertical.
The Custom option is used to manually set the orientation of the Y vector.
The Pan and Tilt options are angles.
- If you specify 0 and 0 for these angles, the Y vector will be horizontal (i.e. pointing to the right).
- The Tilt vector is used to change the height of the Y vector, in particular, it rotates the Y vector around the depth.
- If Tilt is 90, and Pan is 0, the Y vector will point up.
- The Pan vector is used to rotate the Y vector around the standard vertical axis.
- If Pan is 90 and Tilt is 0, the Y vector will point forward.
