Building an Effect with a Color Change


In this section we will add the first layer to our Effect.

Step 2: Creating the "center"
The "center" layer is the spherical shape that will be affected by the behavior and will change color.

  • In the Layers Panel Select the newly created Behavior node. In the Components Panel double click on the Stars icon OR in the Layers Panel, right click on the newly created Behavior layer and choose "ADD STAR LAYER"
  • Fill the Properties of the newly created layer with the following data




NOTE: Pay attention to "Opening in Meters" that specifically tells the engine how far in Diameter the stars have to travel. (1m=3.2808399 feet)
